£22m Optometry Department Chooses i-Vue

Cardiff University Optometry Department stands out as the UK's state-of-the-art Optometry department. Housing the latest research technology and a brand new clinic area, Clinic Directors and Senior Academic Staff opted for two i-Vue systems in their large clinic area.
The aim was to provide patients with up to date information on products and services through Optimed's unique 3D animations. Furthermore, the benefit of web based content management system will allow patients to be kept informed on the any specific messages the University want to present. Commenting on the installation Dr. Dave (Director of Professional Affairs for Optimed) said 'our web based content management system is the only one in the eye-care industry that allows remote, live updates of messages without the need to physically be near the unit. Furthermore, the uniqueness of our system lies in the content, we produce true 3D animations that present messages in a truly compelling manner'.
Commenting on the i-Vue Dr. Tom Margrain (Senior Lecturer, Director of Clinics) said 'we are delighted to have the i-Vue systems here at Cardiff University. We believe it will help our patients better understand what we have to offer'.
